            One Christmas Eve, way out west, where the land is flat and the cattle are king, a little white house sits tucked away in a very small grove of trees.  The sky is a tumbling mess of grey storm clouds dotted with white specks of snow that pelt against the tiny home.  Silver-blue shafts of light hug the horizon to signify the end of the day.

            The snowstorm has already frosted the plains with a thick coating of white winter icing.  Snow continues to whip through the frigid air, but the little white house is well-built and disregards the blizzard.  The windows glow with a yellow-orange light, and the red brick chimney puffs white billows of wood smoke into the rolling sky.
